JOHN BEGNAUD: 2010 pecan crop looks good
Across most of Texas and the pecan belt, which is mainly the southern and western states, this years pecan crop looks average to slightly above. At the recently held annual Texas pecan conference, price projections, expected yields and exports to China all looked to be positive influences for pecans. In the Concho Valley, the crop is very spotty with some trees loaded and others blank.
